Harris’ Community Development + Housing team helped the City to secure $10 million in Local Housing Trust Fund (LHTF) grant funding. While City staff was on leave, the City engaged Harris to manage affordable housing developments. Harris represented the City in the conversion of an $8.3 million acquisition/predevelopment loan into an $11.7 million construction/permanent loan for the development of a 58-residence permanent supportive housing development. Harris led the City’s loan committee to evaluate, coordinate with the developer to modify, and then approve a $5.7 million loan request for the development of 13 affordable residences focused on transition aged youth.
