Making communities safer, more efficient and more beautiful at the same time is the challenge Vijay accepts every day. His impressive 25-plus year career includes building bridges to the future, both literally and figuratively, while adding lifestyle improvements such as bike lanes, vintage lighting, pedestrian access and more on countless public works projects throughout Southern California, Nevada, New Mexico, and India.

Vijay brings his expertise to bear for Harris clients via resident engineering services, quality control and assurance, project management and inspection, both in the design office and in the field.

He specializes in transportation, having worked on everything from major freeways and interchanges to rural highways and arterial streets—including all types of paving, post tension and prestressing, falsework and shoring systems.

Vijay has extensive experience with Caltrans Standard Plans and Standard Specifications, Greenbook Specifications, the Caltrans Construction Manual, Traffic Controls and the Local Assistance Procedure Manual (LAPM). In the world of bridges, he has worked on cast-in-place (CIP) box girder, precast and railroad underpass bridges. On the recent Sunset Avenue Grade Separation project for the County of Riverside Transportation Department, he is serving as Resident Engineer.

Vijay brings a broad and deep perspective to construction management, including experience in submittals and RFI reviews, CPM baseline schedule reviews and monthly schedule update reviews. He also has extensive experience coordinating with numerous stakeholder agencies and the public to get jobs done smoothly.
