Harris & Associates announced the opening of a new Sacramento office to better serve its consulting, planning, design, and construction clients in the greater Sacramento metropolitan area. The office—Harris’ 11th—will serve public, private, and institutional clients in the region across the water, municipal, transportation, and education markets.
“We’ve had a strong presence for many years in the Sacramento area, with a long list of successful partnerships and projects. It just made sense to expand our footprint here,” said Lisa Larrabee, CEO of Harris. “We look forward to serving even more clients as trusted advisors with a consultative, collaborative approach that improves communities across Sacramento.”
Harris also welcomed two new leaders to support Harris’ Sacramento clients: AEC-industry veterans Blake Johnson, PE, Director of Engineering Services, and Andrew MacDonald, PE, Senior Project Manager in Harris’ Strategic Advisory Services Division.
Blake’s 29 years in the civil engineering and flood control sectors include various leadership roles, from technical advisor to design manager. In addition to completing some of the most complicated levee projects in Northern California, Blake has helped clients secure the proper funding for these projects to be a success.
Andrew joins Harris with over 19 years of experience in project management, civil engineering, design, planning, and wet and dry utility relocations for roadway projects. He has led agency coordination and permitting, and previously held engineer and project manager positions on numerous telecom projects throughout California.
“Blake and Andrew offer clients much more than standard project delivery,” said John Kuprenas, Division President of Design and Engineering at Harris. “They provide smart, tailored recommendations and guidance for every project and each community’s goals, making them ideal leaders for our Strategic Advisory Services and Engineering Services teams.”
