Students and teachers in Southern California today benefit from the world of experience Daniel brings to every project—literally.
His 35-year career in program, project and construction management has included ventures across the globe—from hospitals in the Middle East to theme parks in Europe. He’s especially proud of the six years he spent working on Disneyland Paris, a destination one-fifth the size of the city itself.
Today, he focuses primarily on improving educational environments. He has led numerous new and modernization construction projects for the San Diego Unified School District, the San Diego Community College District and the Santa Monica - Malibu Unified School District.
To complement his construction portfolio exceeding $12 billion in completed projects, Daniel has an equally impressive history of team management in Fortune and ENR 500 companies. In all of his work, he inspires innovative solutions to design, process, quality, budget and operations challenges. He explores new frontiers to improve the bottom line and enhance the user experience.
Exploring comes naturally to Daniel. He lived in Europe for 16-years and holds dual citizenship in both the U.S. and France. His mother is from Puerto Rico, and his father hails from Transylvania, in Romania.
I was at the right place at the right time when Harris was qualifying for a new contract with my favorite local client: San Diego Unified School District. That was over four years ago. I’m proud of the difference we've made for our clients.
