Harris & Associates is pleased to welcome Marie Santos to the team in the role of Director of Transportation. With over 25 years of award-winning experience in civil engineering and project management, Marie brings a wealth of expertise in designing roadways, high-speed facilities, and overseeing municipal projects in collaboration with Caltrans and other state and local agencies.

One of Marie’s most notable accomplishments is her work on the University of California, San Diego Mesa House Pedestrian and Bike Bridge Project. This project received eight different awards, including the 2022 Transportation Award for Best Non-Highway Bridge from PCI Design Awards and the 2021 Outstanding Chapter Project of the Year award from APWA San Diego!

With Harris, Marie will continue to build on her history of success by helping clients to design, build, and improve critical transportation infrastructure, including bridges, highways, and local streets.

As an accomplished transportation engineer and manager, Marie's comprehensive understanding of transportation projects will allow her to serve her clients with innovative techniques and a forward-thinking approach.
