The San Francisco Chronicle recently named Harris & Associates to the Bay Area Top Workplaces of 2023. This marks the fourth time the firm has earned this honor.
Making the jump from 37th to 20th, the firm was one of only 128 companies to make this year's prestigious list. The award measures aspects of organizational success based on anonymous feedback gathered from employees. Traditionally, honored companies attract the highest quality talent and experience lower than average employee turnover, which results in a productive and fulfilling work environment.
“It’s extremely gratifying,” said Steve Winchester, CEO of Harris & Associates, “This award is based on employee satisfaction and it’s a testament to our dedication to creating the most supportive and positive culture for our Harris employee-owners.”
The recognition reflects Harris’ ongoing drive to bring together people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives to build equitable, resilient, and sustainable communities. Currently, 48% of our employee-owners and 36% of our managers and above are people of color. Women comprise 45% of our employee-owners and 45% of our managers and above.
“We strive to ensure equity in career advancement opportunities, as well as access to professional development and support for everyone at Harris,” said Winchester. “It’s part of our Shared Values and we know that this commitment leads to better solutions for our clients and a more productive and enjoyable atmosphere for the Harris team.”
