Harris Welcomes Gary Yagade as Vice President of Engineering Services

Yagade will lead and grow Harris' engineering practice

Harris & Associates is pleased to welcome  Gary Yagade, PE as the firm's Vice President of Engineering Services

Yagade will lead and continue to grow Harris' engineering practice which focuses on the design of infrastructure improvements, including  transportation, water, wastewater, and flood control, and partners with public agencies in providing  numerous services, including development review, staff augmentation, and asset management and more.

"His wealth of experience in two of Harris' core markets, water + wastewater and  transportation, in combination with his outstanding reputation in the industry, will help us take our engineering services practice to the next level."

Gary comes to Harris with more than 30 years of civil engineering experience, specializing in water resources. However, his experience also includes 10 years of focus in transportation.

Prior to Harris, Gary was the Business Development and Sales Director for a large engineering consulting firm, and the Senior Practice Manager of the firm's West integrated water resources and environmental sciences division. Gary also served as the project manager for a $48 million California Department of Water Resources contract for engineering services for floodplain delineation and floodplain management.

Gary graduated from San Diego State University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and is a registered civil engineer in the state of California. He is active in many professional associations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Association of State Floodplain Managers.
