Harris Welcomes Carole Sanders as New Practice Director
Carole Sanders, PE, QSD joins Harris & Associates as a Practice Director in the firm's program and construction management practice with extensive experience in the transportation market. Carole will initially be managing transportation projects in the Inland Empire region.
Carole started her career at Caltrans working on I-5 Century Freeway construction in Los Angeles as a bridge engineer. She has held various positions at Caltrans, including her final one as a senior construction engineer in Caltrans District 8 (Inland Empire).

Carole has extensive experience in the transportation industry and has worked for private consultant firms serving Caltrans and many local agencies in Southern California. She has held various industry roles, including Resident Engineer, Construction Engineer, and Area Manager. She has administered major freeway interchange projects, bridge projects and rail road grade separation projects for public agencies.
Carole is an active member of WTS (Women's Transportation Seminar) and has served as a Board Member for the Inland Empire branch. She earned an M.S. in Transportation Management from San Jose State University and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Howard University.
