Harris is passionate about multi-benefit stormwater and flood control projects like the McKelvey Park Flood Detention Basin—a $25 million multi-use flood detention basin and five-acre baseball park in Mountain View, CA—for which we provided biddability and constructability reviews, construction management, and inspection services.
In addition, we parlay the knowledge we’ve gained from the planning and permitting processes into design and construction efficiencies. For example, when wildfires and a record rainy season caused stormwater to wash out Palo Colorado Road, Harris accelerated emergency repairs by presenting three design alternatives, each accounting for environmental permitting and financing complexities.
