(Retired) Chief Financial Officer
Gary Wohl provides the strategic and financial leadership that makes Harris a standout firm and a fantastic place to work.
Gary brings to Harris expertise gained from more than two decades of leading an impressive roster of companies—from start-ups to multi-firm mega-mergers—to new levels of excellence, stability and growth.
Gary also helms Harris' risk management, litigation and accounting functions for corporate, regional and field offices. He brings teams throughout the firm together with unprecedented levels of accountability and ownership.
He's justifiably proud of his role in helping Harris convert to a 100% employee-stock-owned S Corporation. In doing so, Gary has helped ensure that the Harris team literally takes ownership of the company and the community projects it supports.
Prior to joining Harris, Gary served as CFO of a $1.5 billion construction firm, where he was responsible for a $200 million corporate treasury in addition to strategy and oversight of 13 regional offices—generating 45% to 55% annual return on equity over a five-year span.
Gary has also served as CFO and COO at several law firms. A common thread through all of his work: helping to streamline processes and enhance both company and client experiences.
When he's not helping lift organizations to new heights, he's often reaching them himself: Gary has scaled Colorado's second-highest peak, Mount Massive, at a dizzying 14,429 feet. Gary participates in the Escape from Alcatraz and other Triathlons, he also enjoys playing jazz piano both solo and in jazz combos as well as attending jazz clubs and jazz concerts.
We work on projects that help make our society function.
