Carole helps keep communities across Southern California moving. She brings nearly three decades of construction experience to her leadership role at Harris, specializing in the freeways and bridges which connect the Southland's people and places.
Carole has worked in both the public and private sectors before joining Harris & Associates. She has spent over 24 years on transportation projects located in the Caltrans right-of-way, overseeing the inspection and construction and rehabilitation of major highway and bridge projects. Carole has worked directly with FHWA and has passed all federal, state and local audits while overseeing the construction work. She served as Senior Transportation Engineer for the construction division at Caltrans District 8. She served as senior resident engineer/project manager for the $300 million SR-210 Freeway construction that links the cities of Fontana, Rialto and San Bernardino—an achievement for which the San Bernardino Sun dubbed her "The Queen of the SR-210."
Carole has won numerous awards throughout her career, including Resident Engineer of the Year from Caltrans. She was also appointed to the Engineering Advisory Board at the University of California at Riverside, Bourn School of Engineering, to help create and develop their School of Civil Engineering.
Carole loves to read and write. She's already published one book and is hard at work on her second.
